A Governing Board,
representative of CACRT's membership and geographic
area, provides leadership to ensure the accomplishment
of the goals specified on the previous page. Members of
the Board serve on a volunteer basis.
The CACRT Board's
Executive Committee is composed of the President,
Vice-President, Secretary and Treasurer. The Executive
Committee's functions are to:
- Define qualifications
of membership.
- Select and supervise
the CACRT Outreach Coordinator.
- Review and approve
training curricula.
- Certify that members
have met educational and other
requirements.
- Review preliminary
response plans and provide structure and guidance to
the Outreach Coordinator, as
needed.
- Develop and amend
Bylaws, policies and procedures as
needed.
- Review and revise the
CACRT Operating Procedures and One Year Action Plan
annually.
The Governing Board has established several
standing committees, including Outreach, Training &
Education, and Resource Development. Committees may
change, as needed.
